My journey into Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) has been both fascinating and personal. Along the way, I’ve encountered unique experiences that have shaped my understanding of this field. The Seed of Interest
Throughout my years in general OB/GYN, a persistent interest in REI and Infertility lingered, sparking my eventual journey into the specialized field. The intricacies of fertility treatment always held a special fascination for me, an area where science and the human experience intersected in unique and impactful ways.
Unexpectedly, life took a different path, bringing challenges as I faced my own fertility struggles while trying to conceive. My REI journey was marked by trials and tribulations, yet it became the catalyst for a profound shift in my career trajectory. This period of personal struggle illuminated the critical need for comprehensive patient care, empathy, and thorough reproductive health education.
Challenging the Status Quo
Dissatisfaction began to grow within the confines of a busy OB office. The relentless pace left me feeling rushed with patients, yearning for more meaningful connections. It was evident that there was a desire for a more patient-centric approach, one that allowed for in-depth discussions and education to empower individuals on their reproductive health journeys.
Inspired by both personal triumph and the recognition of a gap in patient care, I made the decision to specialize in REI in 2001, marking the beginning of my REI journey. The vision was clear: to create a space where patients felt heard, understood, and supported throughout their fertility struggles.

Now, as a Fertility Specialist, I find immense fulfillment in dedicating the time necessary to build meaningful relationships with my patients. Beyond diagnoses and treatments, each interaction is an opportunity to instill hope, provide compassionate care, and offer guidance on the intricate path to parenthood.
